eng-lish lit-erature

uh..... it's been a long long time ago since my last blog. one lame excuse that i can give is because of my busy schedule. but to be honest it is my schedule to be blamed. it is my limited creative grey spot that hold me back. ahhh.... what a waste having a blog (errr 3 actually) but not have a frequent flow of words to form a story. it is true that i dont have confidence in writing. it is true that i take a long time to write in english. but this has got to stop. why.... because i have to build up my confidence towards this language, on preparing my IELTS exam.

who said i could not write in english, who said i am not articulate. ME..... no wonder there a saying, "u urself are the biggest enemy".

It all started when i'm preparing for the IELTS test. I was suprised of how difficult it is. Reading the passage, answering the questions, fill in the blanks, finding the right phrases. arrrghhh.... suddenly i felt that this language is new to me. how is this possible. well i should blame the depreciated confidence in me.

This has got to stop.

Writing exam is what i fear most. It is not a matter of writing thing, since i admit i could easily start a paragraph. But it is a matter of writing, academically. there are arguments, sentence construction, expanding ideas that is bothering me. But i knew, with practice i can overcome the fear, therefore build my confidence towards writing.

I know i can do it.

For the sake of this exam, i have to read a lot of academic writing. What a coincedence that i happenend to subscribe the Readers Digest. I have to read article that promotes arguments. how the writer presented a case, and discuss his ideas and bring out the facts.

Time prohibit me to type long. Another time i would write something sensible, perhaps. perhaps a case that is arguable.
