"Kenegaraan Luar Negara!"

18 to 22 May 2006, Thursday untill Monday. Venue, Kem BTN at Tanjung Rhu, Sepang. It is a requirement for those who would further their studies overseas. Previous experience of attending BTN didnt welcome much anticipation in going. But i am optimistic about it somehow, after all, that experience was 12 years ago...man.... that is a very long time ago. Whatever matters, i have to go through it anyway. Borrowed white blouses from my sister. Bought 2 new t-shirt and a pair of socks. So, on that Thursday morning, said salam, kisses and smooches to the love one, beloved hubby drove me there, in a friendly morning rain. Tanjung Rhu camp is not quite a new camp, but not that old either. I think it had built around year 2000. I expected it to be like the camp that i went to in the year 1994. But it is totally different from what i have expected. 5 days 4 nights. Yes, it was a splendid break if u are on holiday. Infact 3 days 2 nights of attending workshop is sure a breather. But here at the camp, for the first couple of days, u have to rush everything, woke up at 5.20 rush for subuh prayer, after tazkirah, rush back to the dorm, to get ready for morning assembly and a little bit of warming up, then rush to the canteen for breakfast, 10 minutes of eating (at most), and rush back to the dorm to bathe and get ready for the ceramah session. ahhhhh everything so intense.
Although time is so pack, but i am glad i went there. For just 5 days and 4 nights, i learnt a lot about our current situation in Malaysia. Balik dgn semangat nasionalisme tinggi. Perasaan bangga menjadi rakyat Malaysia, meluap-luap di dada. I have a clear insight of my own vision and mission. I know how i can contribute to Malaysia now. On the last day, baru terasa cepat pulak masa berlalu. Belum puas lagi membaja perasaan patriotik ini...hehhehehehhe.... Anyway hidup mesti diteruskan. Kerja perlu settle. There, I didnt think about work at all, not even a second. hahahha isnt it weird. Itu la penangan kem BTN. Probably because of the rush hour, we could not think anything else, but what is ahead the schedule. Tapi call yg tersayang masih lagi my priority. Ada free sikit je, telefon. Honestly, i would definately recommend people to attend the camp. My opinion is simple. It help in creating a better view of what history could teach us. Well it might be interesting to people like me, but not to someone else. After all 'rambut sama hitam, hati lain-lain' apa-apa pun 'hati mau baik'. So concluding this entry are some pictures taken at the camp. Menyesal tak bawak digital camera. Anyway, camera phone absolutely come in handy.

On the left is the canteen, where 6 meals a day is being served. In front of the canteen is the football field. Judging by the goal post, probably it is a 9 sebelah or 7 sebelah punye football game. This picture was taken at a corridor leading to the dormitory.
